Position Title: Mechanical Field Service Specialist
Location: Ridgefield, WA – In the field
Compensation:$45/hr
Job Summary
The Mechanical Field Service Specialist is responsible for servicing batching and mixing plant equipment installed at customer sites across North America. This role includes equipment inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and assisting in new plant installations. Extensive travel is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical servicing and training to customers during and after equipment service
- Assist with installation of new equipment, upgrades, and specific paid services
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Perform welding and mechanical repairs as needed
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide solutions
- Promote service offerings and replacement parts to customers when applicable
- Complete service reports and expense documentation
- Support warehouse operations including pulling, packing, and shipping parts
- Respond to customer service and parts-related inquiries
- Apply lean concepts to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Adhere to all written policies, procedures, and safety best practices
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements
- Willingness to travel 100–150+ days per year across North America and occasionally Europe
- Ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 100 lbs
- Fluent in English
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain or currently hold a U.S. passport
Physical Demands
- Frequent long hours during service and installation projects
- Ability to be away from home for 1–3 weeks at a time
- Lifting heavy components and climbing heights up to 80 feet
- Extensive travel and field work
Preferred Qualifications
- Mechanical background
- Industry-related experience
- Forklift operation certification
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong mechanical knowledge
