Job Summary
NWPX Geneva is seeking a Plant Manager to lead operations at a newly transitioned, fully automated facility in Salt Lake City. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring operational continuity, driving production performance, and developing a high-performing workforce.
The Plant Manager will oversee all plant operations with a strong focus on safety, automation, and continuous improvement, while fostering a culture of mentorship and team engagement.

- 45 Plant Employees
- 11 Yard Employees
- 6 Sales Team Members
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Leadership
- Oversee daily operations across a fully automated plant environment.
- Lead and develop cross-functional teams, including plant, yard, and sales personnel.
- Establish a strong leadership presence focused on mentorship and team development.
Safety & Compliance
- Promote and enforce a safety-first culture across all operations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Production & Performance
- Drive plant performance to achieve full operational capacity within six months.
- Ensure consistent product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Support the transition and optimization of automated production systems.
Continuous Improvement
- Implement and maintain a continuous improvement mindset across operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflows.
Workforce Development
- Mentor and develop employees, fostering engagement and accountability.
- Build a strong, team-oriented culture within a diverse workforce environment.
Qualifications
Industry Experience
- Experience in precast or concrete industry strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with automated plant systems and production environments.
- Knowledge of CPA/NCP, ACPA, and UDOT standards preferred.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Strong operational and plant management expertise.
- Deep understanding of safety practices and compliance.
- Experience managing complex production environments.

Territory & Travel

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $115,000 – $170,000 (depending on experience)
- 401(k) with 4% match
- Profit sharing (~8%, paid twice per year)
