VP of Sales & Marketing

Job Summary: 

The Sales & Marketing Leader will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee the company marketing program, partner relationship development, and customer satisfaction initiatives while ensuring the development and implementation of Gainey’s marketing and sales policies, objectives, and initiatives.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains management-level staff in the department.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of Gainey’s sales and marketing division.
  • Collaborates with leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on sales and marketing projects and systems.
  • Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out Gainey’s goals and objectives.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline Gainey’s processes, customer relations, and profit.
  • Administers the Sales budget. Responsible for revenue and gross profit goals.
  • Monitors customer, market, and competitor activity.
  • Presents a weekly report of performance and metrics to the leadership team.
  • Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • This is a largely sedentary role with frequent requirements to stand and walk.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision, distant vision, and color vision. Depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
